The 3rd generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU unifies the CPU technology between our PC and mobile platforms, tailored for the unique performance and efficiency needs of each. This generation introduces hardware matrix acceleration and features a wider, faster design with smarter branch prediction. These architectural refinements enable industry-leading clock speeds, efficiency, and performance.
2nd Generation
The 2nd generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU brought improved speeds and efficiency with a new data prefetcher and clock gating techniques on a 3nm process node. We also introduced the Performance core with a smaller instruction window and other streamlined architecture optimizations that brought high performance at new levels of power efficiency for a wider range of applications.

The 1st generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU was introduced with the Snapdragon® X Series Compute Platform. The Qualcomm Oryon Prime cores maximize throughput and parallelism.
