Qualcomm and HUMAIN Unveil Horizon Ultra AI PC at LEAP 2026, Bringing AI Directly to the Device
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and HUMAIN, a PIF company delivering full-stack artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities globally, today launched Horizon Ultra, its next-generation AI PC, at LEAP 2026, unveiling a new personal computing experience designed and powered by the Snapdragon® X2 Elite platform.
The launch follows more than 12 months of design and development by HUMAIN with support from Qualcomm Technologies, focused on building a new generation of personal computing centered on AI that runs directly on the device.
Unveiled for the first time at LEAP, Horizon Ultra is designed to move increasingly sophisticated AI capabilities closer to the user. The first release will run Microsoft Windows, combining a familiar enterprise operating environment with hardware designed for AI. In 2027, the line’s next iteration will introduce HUMAIN OS, extending its AI capabilities further into the personal computing layer.
At the center of Horizon Ultra is Snapdragon X2 Elite, featuring an 18-core Qualcomm Oryon™ CPU alongside the Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU and Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU. This architecture allows workloads to be distributed across specialized compute engines, enabling advanced AI models and experiences to run locally on the device while seamlessly extending to the cloud when additional scale, compute capacity or services are required.
By bringing dedicated AI processing directly into the PC, Horizon Ultra delivers faster and more responsive AI experiences while allowing selected workloads and sensitive data to remain on the device, supporting privacy and data sovereignty. It creates new possibilities across enterprise productivity, content creation, multimodal AI and intelligent agents, all while staying connected to the cloud whenever a task calls for more power than the device alone can provide.

For enterprises, Horizon Ultra extends AI from centralized infrastructure to the employee endpoint. Local AI processing can support use cases where responsiveness, connectivity, privacy or data-handling requirements make on-device execution valuable, while maintaining the ability to connect with enterprise and cloud AI environments.
Horizon Ultra is part of HUMAIN’s broader full-stack approach to AI, spanning infrastructure, cloud and compute, data and models, and applications. Extending AI to the personal computing layer creates a new environment where models and applications can operate closer to users and to the work itself.
The planned introduction of HUMAIN OS in 2027 represents the next phase of that roadmap, bringing HUMAIN’s operating environment directly to Horizon Ultra and creating deeper integration between the device, its AI capabilities and HUMAIN’s wider technology platform.
AlFalak will serve as the sales and delivery partner for Horizon Ultra, supporting enterprise purchasing and fulfillment.
Following its unveiling at LEAP 2026, Horizon Ultra, running Microsoft Windows, will be available for enterprise purchase beginning September 20, 2026.
The launch reflects a broader shift in personal computing as AI moves from being a feature within software to becoming part of the device’s underlying architecture. With dedicated AI processing embedded alongside CPU and GPU compute, the PC is evolving into a platform that runs intelligence, not just one that accesses it.
