MediaFLO™ USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), today announced a multi-year license agreement with Fox Mobile Entertainment and Fox Interactive Media that will bring programming from Twentieth Century Fox Television, Fox News Channel and FOX Sports Interactive to MediaFLO USA's revolutionary new mobile entertainment service. The deal adds a formidable array of FOX primetime and classic TV programs, such as “24,” “Prison Break,” “FOX Report with Shepard Smith” and “Your World with Neil Cavuto” to MediaFLO USA's compelling channel line-up. FOX Sports on MSN, a unit of Fox Interactive Media, will also deliver several hours per day of original sports video programming that will be accessible to viewers via both MediaFLO USA and FOXSports.com.
“Fox Mobile Entertainment is proud to have led early mobile video efforts, offering a variety of popular FOX entertainment, sports and news programming to mobile users,” said Lucy Hood, president of Fox Mobile Entertainment. “We're excited about the prospects of MediaFLO USA to improve the quality of mobile television and help us to engage consumers in new ways.”
