Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a 33 percent increase in the Company's quarterly cash dividend.
The dividend will increase from $0.09 to $0.12 per share of common stock and will be effective for quarterly dividends payable after March 24, 2006. This dividend increase raises the annual dividend to $0.48 per share of common stock.

In recognition of our strong financial position, our confidence in the future of the corporation and the successful growth of 3G wireless technologies, the Qualcomm Board of Directors has voted to increase our dividend for the fifth time in three consecutive years,” said Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, CEO of Qualcomm.
