Wireless Publishers and Developers Cash in on the BREW® Solution, Earning More Than $350 Million from BREW Applications and Services

BREW Earnings Take Significant Jump in Six Months Demonstrating Increasing Demand for Compelling Wireless Data Services Around the World

Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that BREW publishers and developers have earned more than $350 million to date from the sale of wireless applications and services developed for the BREW solution. Today's milestone is a tremendous achievement for the international community of BREW publishers and developers when compared to the more than $200 million in earnings announced in October 2004. These numbers are strong validation of the success that the solution enables and a key indicator of the popularity of wireless data worldwide. Currently, there are 45 commercial operators in 24 countries offering wireless data services based on the BREW solution.
