SAN DIEGO -- November 6, 2003 -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, and Huawei Technologies, a leading Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturer, today announced the successful demonstration of a CDMA2000 1xEV-DO 450MHz end-to-end solution, at ITU Telecom World 2003 in Geneva, by using a CDMA handset and trial system equipment provided by Huawei. The peak data rate of 2.4 Mbps for CDMA2000 1xEV-DO was achieved during this demonstration.
