BEIJING -- April 1, 2003 -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, congratulates China Unicom (NYSE: CHU) on the carrier's successful launch of its CDMA2000 1X nationwide network on March 28, 2003.
