Qualcomm Introduces GlobalTRACS Equipment Management System

SAN DIEGO -- February 11, 2003 -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leader in providing wireless data solutions, today announced the commercial introduction of its GlobalTRACS™ equipment management system at the American Rental Association's 47th Annual Convention and Rental Trade Show in Anaheim, Calif. Revolutionary in its design, the GlobalTRACS equipment management system provides reliable, wireless access to equipment engine hours and location data, regardless of equipment type or manufacturer.

Qualcomm's GlobalTRACS system is a complete, turnkey equipment management solution, offering ruggedized hardware, state-of-the-art network services and extensive data integration capabilities.
