Qualcomm will preview its wireless Internet strategy in conjunction with a full-scale, live, hands-on demonstration of its newest innovation, High Data Rate (HDR) technology. HDR, signifying the convergence of wireless telecommunications and the Internet, is a high-speed, high-capacity wireless technology that unleashes Internet access at unprecedented speeds in fixed, portable and mobile systems.
The event coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Qualcomm's first Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) call and will be followed by a two-day wireless symposium for leading wireless operators, manufacturers and partners.
