Qualcomm Seeks Super Ideas for Stadium of the Future Contest

Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) invites high school students in San Diego, Denver and Boulder, Colo. to compete in the "Stadium of the Future" contest. Winners will be selected from both the San Diego and Denver/Boulder regions. Winners will each receive two tickets, for student and guardian, for Super Bowl XXXII on January 25, 1998 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Qualcomm will also donate $1,000 to the winners' schools.

Students with a demonstrated interest in science, engineering and technology are encouraged to submit their ideas for a futuristic wireless communications technology, communications network or other model to be showcased at Qualcomm Stadium in 2002. Full-time, high school students in San Diego, Denver and Boulder counties are eligible to participate. Students are encouraged to work with an academic advisor in developing a creative technology.

The winner from Denver/Boulder counties will also receive prepaid airfare, transportation and lodging. All entries must be received by Friday, December 5, 1997 at 5 p.m. at Qualcomm's corporate headquarters in San Diego.
