Installation has begun.
Committed to continuous improvement in all measurable aspects of its quality process, Robert Hill, president and chief operating officer of PST said, "We chose Qualcomm for its reputation for providing the most superior products available on the market today. OmniTRACS offers the system reliability we need to ensure that our customers will be receiving the best service possible."
According to Hill, Qualcomm's SensorTRACS system will be used to monitor driver performance and serve as an accurate tool for awarding fuel bonuses. The OnTRACS ETA/OoR module, to be installed at a later date, will be used to help improve customer service. "The OnTRACS system will allow us to be proactive should we be faced with a possible service failure," stated Hill. "Having the ability to provide our customers with an accurate ETA and instantly knowing if our vehicles are going out of route will be a tremendous service benefit we look forward to putting to use." The TrailerTRACS product will assist in managing trailer assets.
"We are pleased to have PST join our growing list of customers," stated John Sarto, president of Qualcomm's OmniTRACS Division. "We are confident the OmniTRACS system will provide them with the level of performance they have been seeking and the reliability they need."
