SAN DIEGO - August 8, 1996 - Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM) plans tooffer thousands of copies of its award-winning Eudora Pro Internet emailsoftware to attendees at the Republican National Convention in San Diego,August 12-15, 1996. Nearly 20,000 GOP delegates and media will receive atime-expiring free trial copy of Eudora Pro 2.2 for Windows uponregistration at this year's convention. The Eudora family is currently theworld's most popular Internet email software with over 10 million users,63.5 percent worldwide market share for Internet email, and 70.9 percentshare of all new Internet electronic mailboxes.
