Our security engineering group has just published a revealing technical paper detailing the measures we’re taking to deliver superior user data and access protection across our mobile platforms. We feel this is an important topic to discuss, and to demonstrate how we’re helping to bring Android’s constantly evolving security architecture to new heights. We accomplish this through a defense-in-depth approach, which combines hardware security building blocks and isolated execution environments.

Leadership is a choice, not a position

In a world where data is the new gold, everyone and their data can become victims of hacking. In fact, many of us already have. From mass security compromises to highly targeted campaigns, immunity no longer is. Fortunately, prominent technology leaders like Qualcomm Technologies are stepping up to address this challenge. It’s a responsibility and a privilege to vigorously lead through mobile security and to offer above-and-beyond protection with Snapdragon-powered devices. We streamline these capabilities for device manufacturers, supporting them in their quest to offer exceedingly safer devices across all product categories. With the latest generation SPU, we are proud to take this philosophy a step further, and illuminate the path of user data protection for the rest of the smartphone industry.
