There’s no doubt the future will be increasingly mobile. But when you’re watching a movie, sometimes a smartphone screen just isn’t big enough, and even the lightest laptops can be cumbersome to lug around. Thankfully, the ASUS ZenPad Z8 is just the right size for taking your favorite multimedia with you when you’re on-the-go.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, the ZenPad Z8 is a lean, mean, multimedia machine. The tablet features 64-bit computing that supports high-quality performance for fast web surfing, smooth video playback, and rich gaming experiences. And with an integrated X8 LTE modem, the ZenPad Z8 can deliver up to Category 6 speeds over Verizon’s 4G LTE network, as well as support 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Seeing is believing

The key to any great multimedia experience lies in the graphics. Thanks to the Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU, the ZenPad Z8 offers vivid colors and crisp images on a 7.9-inch, 2K resolution display. ASUS VisualMaster technology also works to optimize contrast, sharpness, and motion clarity depending on your environment. That translates to incredibly realistic images for superior movie, gaming, and outdoor reading experiences.

The ZenPad Z8’s powerhouse graphics also mean great photos. Equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, the tablet can intelligently adjust color and contrast. It also comes with low light mode and HDR mode so you can snap high-quality pics regardless of time of day or setting.

Cinematic audio

Multimedia isn’t just visual. Whether it’s jamming to your favorite tunes, or hearing the music swell in an iconic movie, nothing kills a great multimedia experience like bad audio. On that front, the ZenPad Z8 comes equipped with dual front-facing stereo speakers that boost volume significantly compared to rear or side speakers. The tablet also comes with DTS-HD support for premium theater-quality sound.

Form and function

While the ZenPad Z8 sports a sleek design, it’s also crafted with an eye for practicality. The tablet is thin (0.3 inches), lightweight (under 12 ounces), and features an ergonomic, leather-like surface. It’s also crafted to support wide, 178-degree viewing angles for the best visual experience. Looks aside, the ZenPad Z8 comes with a USB Type-C port, meaning there’s no wrong way to connect your devices. Topping it all off, the tablet comes with a microSD slot so you can store an additional 128 GB of music, movies, TV shows, photos, games—you name it.

The ASUS ZenPad Z8 is available today at Verizon retail stores.
