The MDP/S is designed around a 6.2-inch Quad HD display (490 pixels per inch), with up to 2560×1600 QHD resolution. It’s ideal for game and multimedia development.
The device takes mobile security to a new level by combining ultrasound with 3D fingerprint authentication. Snapdragon Sense™ ID can penetrate the outer layers of skin and read in three dimensions – including fingerprint ridges and pores – to detect details that elude capacitive fingerprint technologies.
Mobile Development Platform Tablet (MDP/T)
The tablet is one of the first to include 802.11ad Wi-Fi, which makes multi-gigabit Wi-Fi speeds possible over line of sight. That level of connectivity means you can not only record and play back 4K video, but you can also stream it on a mobile device. When you run your product demos through a wireless access point in the same room, you’ll see remarkable speed and responsiveness.
Like previous MDP/Ts, the 820 includes a 4K/UHD display, which remains rare for a tablet. The 820 MDP/T is capable of displaying per-rail power with supported software.
