Sony recently revealed their new Xperia Z4 Tablet at Mobile World Congress, the first commercially announced tablet powered by the ultra-fast 64-bit capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

This is Sony’s lightest and thinnest 10 inch tablet, featuring a stunning 2K display. Along with its powerful performance, Sony notes the tablet still boasts industry-leading battery life: up to 17 hours of video playback. Plus, there’s more than enough space to keep files and video downloads with 32GB of internal memory, and plug in pit stops will fly by 75% faster with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

Xperia Z4 Tablet is equipped with robust front stereo speakers for superior audio experiences. Then, when it’s time to get up and go, the tablet detects what kind of headset is plugged in, and automatically adjusts audio settings for the best sound possible. With the digital noise cancellation (DNC) being handled at the chip level by our Snapdragon processors, most compatible DNC headphones don’t need any extra electronics or power sources to reduce exterior noise by up to 98%.

Full support for PS4 Remote Play allows gamers to play their favorite Playstation 4 titles over Wi-Fi from any room in the house. They can even use the very same Dualshock 4 wireless controllers they already own. Don’t worry about the pixels, either--with support for hardware tessellation the Qualcomm Adreno 430 GPU is designed to provide incredibly detailed 3D graphics at console quality.

Advanced multimedia processing on the Adreno 430 GPU is engineered so that running multiple apps, surfing the web, and streaming videos is all one seamless experience. And thanks to assertive display technology, supported by the Snapdragon processor, content on the Xperia Z4 Tablet is clearly visible even under bright sunlight. Oh, and the Xperia Z4 is both dust-tight and waterproof so feel free to bring it poolside.

The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is expected to launch globally, with LTE and Wi-Fi variants, beginning in June.
