ZTE SPro 2 combines mobile projector with 4G connectivity hotspot

This year at CES, ZTE revealed the SPro 2, their next-generation portable smart projector, featuring a touch screen interface and mobile hotspot perfect for family entertainment and for professionals on-the-go.

The SPro 2 is powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 800 processor, and runs on an Android 4.4 operating system (KitKat), with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM (with an option to upgrade via micro SDXC for up to 32GB, or by mounting an external drive via USB for up to 2TB). A 5-inch touch screen with an intuitive user interface provides effortless navigation within the fully accessible Google Play store.

The SPro 2 projects HD up to 120” at 200 lumens of brightness with auto focus, auto-keystoning, and anti-glare up to 720p with a native resolution of 1280x720 and a short throw ratio (the distance between the projector and the screen compared to the screen size,) allowing for a bigger picture in tight spaces.

Share your presentation with colleagues anywhere, or connect your laptop or gaming system to the SPro 2 via HDMI, Bluetooth or USB 3.0 to enjoy an outdoor movie screening or spur of the moment gaming session with family and friends. The Snapdragon processor integrates a powerful Qualcomm® Adreno™ 330 GPU that is designed to make those games and videos look better than ever. Plus, as the only smart projector with a mobile hot-spot that supports ten devices via 4G LTE networks, you can access all the streaming content you want without being tethered. The 6300 mAh battery lasts for up to 3 hours as a projector and 10 hours as a hotspot.

AT&T has announced they will carry the SPro 2, with pricing and availability information still to come.
