Uplinq 2014—the only conference that focuses on the distinct intersection of mobile, computing and wireless through technical education sessions, business content and networking opportunities—kicks off September 18 in San Francisco at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
The speaker line up is now set, and includes the following Keynote and General Session speakers:
- Steve Mollenkopf, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Qualcomm Incorporated, will deliver the opening general session keynote on Sept. 18 from 9:30-10 a.m. in the Continental Ballroom. Under Steve’s leadership as president and COO, Qualcomm became a global leader in 3G/4G mobile technologies. Previously, he led its chipset business, helping make Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. the world’s largest mobile chipset supplier.
- Robin Thurston, president and co-founder of MapMyFitness and senior vice president of Under Armour Connected Fitness, will deliver the guest keynote on Sept. 19 from 9:30-10 a.m. in the Continental Ballroom. Robin is responsible for the company’s overall strategic direction as he seeks to position it at the vanguard of health and fitness technology platforms.
General Session Speakers to watch
- Rob Chandhok, president of Qualcomm Interactive Platforms and senior vice president of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., will speak at The Meshy World session on Sept. 19 from 10-10:45 a.m. in the Continental Ballroom. He will also be participating in the Wearables Industry Roundtable on Sept 18 from 1-1:50 p.m. in Plaza B.
- Raj Talluri, senior vice president of product management for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., will speak at the Expanding Your Mobile Horizons session on Sept. 18 from 10-10:45 a.m. in the Continental Ballroom.
