HTC launched its One mini 2 in the U.S. yesterday under the name HTC One remix, exclusive to Verizon Wireless. The HTC One mini 2 has been receiving excellent reviews from multiple sources, including Engadget, who reports that “the One mini 2, like the bigger One (M8), is quite simply a stunning device that screams ‘premium.’” It’s safe to say that its arrival in the U.S. is a welcome one.
Powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 400 processor, the HTC One remix sports a 4.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 resolution. Its 326ppi is impressive for a miniature flagship device.
The look and feel of the new device doesn’t stray far from the HTC One (M8), although it is noticeably smaller, weighing in at 4.83 ounces versus the M8’s 5.64 ounces. Notably, the HTC One remix replaces the 4 ultra-pixel camera with a more standard 13MP design.
The HTC One remix will be available in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold. It will be available through Verizon Wireless online and in-stores for $99.99 with a two-year contract, or through Verizon Edge.
