Today HTC announced its newest flagship phone, the new HTC One (M8) powered by the ultra-fast, cutting-edge Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 801 processor. This slightly bigger but sleeker successor to the 2013 HTC One comes packed with some amazing new features like Duo camera and an intuitive Motion Launch feature, while keeping HTC favorites like BlinkFeed and BoomSound.

Snapdragon + HTC

The Snapdragon 801 processor and all new HTC One come together to give users powerful performance that is designed to drive some of the most exciting experiences without compromising superior battery life. The new HTC One’s ultra-low operation mode, for example, lets you go hours without draining battery life or compromising vivid graphics while using applications like music playback, enhanced audio and advanced editing applications.

All-metal Unibody

Built to inspire envy, the new HTC One (M8) is as beautiful to look at as it is to hold. Its all-metal body fits perfectly in the palm of your hand thanks to a smooth, zero-edge finish that curves around the screen, making it one of the most comfortable phones to hold.

Motion Launch

Just like a sixth sense, the new One has an intuitive motion launch feature that allows you to answer your ringing phone simply by placing it next to your ear. Other motion features include double tapping the screen to check the time, weather or other reminders, and a single swipe anywhere on the screen that lets you open up the HTC BlinkFeed home screen, featuring custom newsfeeds and social media updates on demand.

Duo Camera with Ultrapixels

The HTC One (M8) is actually packed with three incredible cameras—two on the back and one on the front. The Duo camera on back, with Ultrapixels for brilliant day or night shots, allows you to add professional photo effects effortlessly, automatically makes mini movies in seconds and can re-focus images after capturing.

If you enjoy taking selfies, flip it over and check out the 5MP front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens and selfie, photo-taking feature that starts a countdown so you know when to be ready.

HTC BoomSound

The new One also features the HTC favorite, BoomSound, that brings movies and music to life with two stereo speakers cleverly placed on the front of the phone, and combines with dedicated amplifiers to deliver clear, balanced, powerful sound.

The HTC One (M8) is available starting today at Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and Sprint in the U.S.
