The HTC One redefines the smartphone experience, packing in a host of already acclaimed features along with sophisticated design and precision detailing. This Snapdragon 600 processor enabled phone is powerful and incredibly battery efficient while the screen is sharp and the speakers are loud, crisp, and clear, thanks to dual front-facing speakers and HTC BoomSound. Complemented by an innovative UltraPixel camera, HTC BlinkFeed which provides the latest news and social content direct to the home screen and a photo gallery that comes to life through HTC Zoe technology, the judges said of the HTC One, “The HTC One remained one of the most advanced smartphones throughout 2013. Its great design and excellent user interface continue to provide a differentiated user experience, standing out from the competition.”

The judges called the Nokia Lumia 520a smartphone that hasn’t compromised on quality – a trailblazer for Nokia’s low-cost efforts” and it’s easy to see why. Powered by a multitasking Snapdragon S4 processor, the Nokia Lumia 520 delivers experiences like Nokia’s unique music and navigation services, normally only found in high-end smartphones. This includes a super sensitive touch four-inch display (you can use it with gloves on), 5 MP camera lenses, exchangeable shells and 720p HD video recording, all at an affordable cost.
