Moto G by Motorola -- Google Play edition

Motorola's Moto G, powered by a multitasking, battery efficient Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 400 processor is the newest addition to the Google Play store and, priced as low as $179 unlocked, it’s also the most affordable smartphone currently offered in a Google Play edition. The Moto G joins other flagship smartphones HTC One, Samsung GALAXY S4 , and the Sony Z Ultra with Google Play editions.

Available in 8GB or 16GB versions and compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile, the Moto G Google Play edition boasts several features and specifications you’d expect in a much higher-priced smartphone, making it a great option for cost conscious buyers:

  • Runs on the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Sharp 4.5-inch HD display
  • 5 MP camera at 4:3 aspect ratio and 3.8 MP at 16:9 (user-configurable)
  • 1.3 MP front-facing camera
  • Interchangeable backs, called Shells, are available in a variety of colors to customize your Moto G
