Meet this Holiday Season's Toq of the Town

Every holiday season, there is that one gift that everyone must have. As a kid, I remember Star Wars action figures—the original ones, mind you—Cabbage Patch Kids, Mattel Electronics games and shrink-to-fit Levis 501. More recently, PlayStation 2, iPads and iPhones were hot. What’s it going to be this year? I’m not into making predictions, but connected wearables like the FitBit and the Nike Fuel Band could be the hot ticket.

If you want something really unique, something that will be available in limited numbers, check out the Qualcomm Toq smartwatch, recently featured on CNBC as well as lifestyle publications and websites.

The Toq smartwatch is special in a number of ways:

  • Battery life – One charge can last multiple days versus other smartwatches that barely last a single day.
  • Always on – Just like your smartphone, Toq is always on and active so that you never miss a call, an alert, a message or an update.
  • Easy to see under sunlight – The revolutionary Qualcomm Mirasol reflective display uses the light around it to illuminate the display rather than a power-sucking backlight. And you’ll never have to cover the screen just to read it when you’re outside.
  • Wireless charging – Toq comes with Qualcomm WiPower LE wireless charging technology that allows you to simply drop your watch in the charger and go.
