The term “smartphone” doesn’t seem to describe LG Optimus G Pro accurately. Not because it doesn’t excel at its primary task as a mobile phone. Rather, because its notably large HD screen, combined with multiple fun and practical features, makes it the equivalent of a home theater and home office that you can carry in your pocket.

The LG Optimus G Pro sports a 5.5-inch, 1080p Full HD screen with a stunning 400 pixels-per-inch resolution. Videos displayed on the Optimus G Pro are striking (and big) enough to draw some over-the-shoulder onlookers, so you may not watch alone all that often. While the massive screen size is the first thing you’ll notice, it’s only effective if the engine that powers your videos can handle all that real estate. Fortunately, the super-fast Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 600 processor on the inside is designed to optimize the immersive video display on the outside.

The huge screen has another bonus for avid photographers: helping you show off the beautifully bright, true-color personal pics and videos you take with the Optimus G Pro’s 13-megapixel camera. And along with photos, you can capture videos like a pro. Powerful dual recording and tracking focus capabilities, combined with the full HD front-facing camera, allow you to record front and rear video simultaneously. And if you just want to be in the picture with everyone else, use the voice command feature to snap your shots completely hands-free.

The LG Optimus G Pro offers much more than pretty pictures. Its QSlide feature is a multitasker’s dream, allowing you to take advantage of the huge display by viewing two windows side-by-side. You can layer the windows, adjust their sizing, and even create color-coded itineraries for reservations, activity schedules, and more.

While you’re on the go, you’ll probably grow addicted to the Optimus G Pro’s QuickMemo feature. Jot a quick note using just your finger, while still having access to a variety of colors and pen sizes that you’d typically only find with the use of a stylus. With QuickMemo, you can also capture and annotate screen shots, and share them via email, text message, and social networks.

These are just a few of the LG Optimus G Pro’s fun, fast, and practical features. Check out the video above to see them in action.
