HTC word generator

HTC recently launched their “Here’s to Change” campaign with videos starring Robert Downey, Jr. as a consultant who comes up with inspired phrases that all have the acronym “HTC” including “Hold This Cat” and “Humungous Tinfoil Catamaran” and then brings those phrases to life. The videos point to the idea that with HTC mobile devices, like the HTC One powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 600 mobile processor, your smartphone can be anything you want it to be.

To bring even more whimsical HTC wording into the world, HTC is now sharing the HTC word generator. The generator produces funny three-word phrases with the acronym HTC that you can share with friends on Facebook or Twitter. So far our personal favorites include “Hearty Tinfoil Champion” and “Husky Trampoline Catfish.” Give the word generator a whirl by clicking on the “Here’s to Change” button and see what HTC has for you.

HTC BoomBass

HTC BoomBass

Last week HTC also announced BoomBass–a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker that adds a heavy bass to the already impressive front-facing speaker system on HTC devices. The palm-sized, 3-inch portable cube lets you bring your personal soundtrack with you whether it’s to rock out with some friends at a BBQ or to set the mood for a romantic date. Exclusive to HTC devices, it sits on any surface without being muted and its rubberized exterior can take a few bumps along the way. The bottom of the Boom Bass also slides out to double as a stand for your HTC smartphone while you dance the night away.

The BoomBass will be available in the HTC Accessory Store by mid-October.
