Google Nexus 7 Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor

  1. New “super” powers

While it can’t fly, the newest Nexus 7 from Google is powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ S4 Pro processor that makes a ton of new incredible features possible. The S4 Pro mobile processor is designed to make everything run faster, optimize your battery’s performance, and deliver smooth, dynamic 3D graphics that bring heavy, intense graphics to life on screen, in your hands.

 2. All new Android

The Nexus 7 will be the world’s first tablet to run on Android 4.3 (a.k.a. Jelly Bean), the latest version of the world’s most popular mobile operating system. This means you’ll have access to new features like being able to control who can use which apps and content on your tablet.

3. The sharpest 7” tablet screen–ever

With a 1920x1200 HD display, Google says this is the highest-resolution 7-inch tablet in the world. Text is sharper, gaming pops off screen and movies come to life in Full HD.

4. Look, no wires!

With an incredibly efficient Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, the new Nexus is designed to deliver 9 hours of HD video playback and 10 hours of web browsing without having to plug in. Even better, when your battery is running low, the wireless charging capabilities mean you may never need to really “plug in.”

5. Lighter than ever

The new Nexus comes in at just .64 lbs, making it light enough to take anywhere.

6. Don’t worry about your connection

With the connectivity built in to Snapdragon Pro 4 processors the new Nexus 7 is designed to connect to dual-band Wi-Fi and optional 4G LTE, including support for hundreds of networks worldwide so it can connect to fast-streaming data virtually whenever you need to.

7. Play all!

The brand new Play Games app lets you track your achievements, play with (or against) friends and other gamers and find new exciting games.

The Nexus 7 will be available as soon as July 30 at Google Play. Sign up for updates for more information.
