The 2012 Game Developer Conference, held in San Francisco, is the pit-stop gamers and developers flock to before the gaming industry’s biggest event: E3. Over 18,000 gamers of all types have converged to feed on the hysteria of game development and preview the latest and greatest in upcoming games. We of course were in attendance as well to show off our Snapdragon processor.

In addition to holding an entire day’s worth of educational sessions for game developers, Qualcomm was also on display at the Expo show floor. The Unity booth demonstrated Qualcomm’s Augmented Reality SDK and its tremendous upside in game development. Plenty of Qualcomm-enabled devices were on also spotted on the show floor, from the Samsung AT&T Galaxy Note LTE (with our Snapdragon S3 processor) to the Sony PS Vita (featuring our MDM modems). Check out our photo slideshow that takes you on a virtual tour of GDC 2012.
