QCA6436

A single-die 802.11ad PHY+MAC baseband transceiver

It communicates via the 802.11ad protocol over an IF signal at 15 GHz. The QCA6436, when combined with QCA642x (QCA6426+QCA6436, QCA6321+QCA6436), can communicate over the 60 GHz unlicensed frequency band at speeds of 5 Gbps using a single carrier transmission.

Includes dedicated ground pins for improved grounding, mechanical strength, and thermal continuity. QCA6436 also employs DAC/ADC, BB amplification and filtering with conversion from IQ modulation to IF signaling at 15 GHz. Supports single carrier modulation from BPSK up to 16 QAM.

QCA6436 is a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and/or its subsidiaries.
