Use the Qualcomm Demo Buddy app to learn more about our demonstrations and see our technologies in action. The app provides information about key demos and latest announcements.   

To use it, look for the circle targets throughout the Qualcomm booth that identify featured demos.  Tap “Scan Target” to activate your phone’s camera, and the app—powered by the Qualcomm® Vuforia augmented reality platform—will unlock featured content. Additionally, you can respond to a push notification from the Gimbal context aware platform, or tap on a circle icon in the app, to unlock featured content. Once the show starts, more content will unlock in the app. You can also rate demos, see what’s trending, share your experience on social networks, and check out a booth map.

Instructions for downloading the Android .APK file.

  1. Be sure to enable the "Unknown sources" setting on your device. Access from Settings > Security.

  • Download the file named "demobuddy_mwc2015.apk" form Your Android device.
  • Once downloaded, begin the installation by selecting the install file.
