SOLUTION
Incident Response Using Drones

Overview

During critical incidents, drones equipped with Edge AI deliver real-time intelligence from hazardous zones. This enhances situational awareness, reduces responder risk, cuts costs, and accelerates emergency response—enabling faster, smarter decisions without waiting for cloud connectivity.

Benefits

Faster, safer response: Drones with Edge AI assess hazards instantly, reducing risk and accelerating emergency decisions.

Lower operational costs: Autonomous drones minimize manpower and equipment needs, cutting response costs significantly.

Smarter situational awareness: Real-time video and analytics streamline documentation and enhance visibility across large or complex environments.

Architecture

The solution uses Qualcomm® Edge AI Boxes with IP cameras or AI-enabled cameras for intelligent event detection. All AI processing happens on-device, ensuring low latency and data privacy. The Qualcomm® Generative-AI Command Center supports natural language queries, retrieves snapshots or video footage, and generates reports to accelerate investigations and decision-making.
