They may misuse Qualcomm’s name, logo, and even employee details to solicit up‑front fees or obtain personal information from job seekers.
Legitimate communications:
- Official correspondence will only come from an authorized @qualcomm.com or @qti.qualcomm.com email address.
- Be cautious of emails from look‑alike or derivative domains containing the word “qualcomm.”
Important reminders:
- Qualcomm does not conduct interviews via chat rooms (e.g., Google Hangouts).
- Qualcomm does not request advance fees of any kind (such as payments for equipment).
- Qualcomm does not extend employment offers without a thorough recruitment process.
What to do if contacted:
- Do not respond to unsolicited offers claiming to be from Qualcomm.
- Do not open attachments or click on hyperlinks from suspicious emails.
- Do not provide money
