The Snapdragon Spaces Compatibility Plugin allows Unity developers to create applications for both Android XR and Snapdragon Spaces devices using a single Unity project. It facilitates the migration of existing Snapdragon Spaces and Android XR projects, ensuring compatibility with minimal adjustments.

Snapdragon Spaces VR/MR headsets, including the Lenovo VRX, as well as Android XR VR/MR devices such as the Samsung Project Moohan, are supported. Snapdragon Spaces AR glasses, including the Lenovo A3 and the QONOQ MiRZA, are not supported.

Unity 6 is a requirement for using Android XR plugins and the Snapdragon Spaces Compatibility Plugin.

Support for Unreal is currently under evaluation; Unity is the only supported engine at present.

If you are developing an application for a VR/MR headset, the Snapdragon Spaces Compatibility Plugin is the recommended path. The Spaces SDK is provided for developers and customers who are not able to update their Unity version.

There will be two apks: one for Spaces devices and one for Android XR devices. The Snapdragon Spaces Compatibility Plugin enables building both from a single Unity project with minimal effort.
