Our dataset is partitioned into two zip files: airletters.z01 (5.1GB) and airletters.zip (9.8GB).

These files must be downloaded to the same directory, combined, and extracted:

On Linux/MacOS:

  1. Merge the downloaded files together using the following command:

    zip -F airletters.zip --out combined.zip
  1. Extract the content from the combined.zip archive using:

    unzip combined.zip

On Windows:

  1. We recommend using a tool like 7-zip, which should automatically merge both parts during extraction. Navigate to the directory where files have been downloaded, select airletters.zip, and click Extract.
