The program is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally reside in the United States or another eligible country. Corporations, associations, and other groups may not participate as Ambassadors. Applicants must also confirm that their participation does not conflict with obligations to an employer, university, sponsor, customer, or other third party.

Ambassadors help increase awareness of Qualcomm technologies, Arduino platforms, and Edge Impulse within their communities. Depending on the applicable program track and Statement of Work, responsibilities may include hosting or supporting developer events, creating content, sharing technical feedback, building community engagement, participating in promotional activities, and completing agreed deliverables. 

Specific responsibilities and deliverables are defined in the applicable Statement of Work.

Depending on the Ambassador’s region, program track, availability, and Statement of Work, Qualcomm may provide benefits such as:

• Access to a developer platform or select Qualcomm, Dragonwing, or Arduino products
• Mentorship from a Qualcomm employee
• Swag
• Invitations to selected Qualcomm events
• Support for Ambassador-managed events, subject to approval

Benefits are not guaranteed for every Ambassador and may be modified, substituted, or discontinued at Qualcomm’s discretion.

Some Ambassador activities may include compensation, while others may be supported through non-cash benefits, equipment, mentorship, or other program resources. Compensation is not automatic and must be specified in the applicable Statement of Work.

When compensation applies, payment is generally contingent on satisfactory completion and Qualcomm’s acceptance of the required deliverables, receipt of a correct invoice, and compliance with the agreement. Ambassadors are responsible for any applicable taxes.

No. Qualcomm products, development hardware, evaluation technology, and Qualcomm materials provided through the program may be used only for approved program-related purposes. 

Pre-commercial or evaluation materials may be used for internal testing, evaluation, or development of functional prototypes that are not sold or distributed. Development hardware and evaluation technology may not be sold, leased, transferred, or placed on the market.

Ambassadors may refer to themselves as a “Qualcomm Ambassador” only in connection with permitted program activities and in accordance with Qualcomm’s branding guidelines. This is a limited, revocable permission and does not grant ownership or broader rights to Qualcomm trademarks, logos, trade names, or other branding.

Any use of Qualcomm branding outside approved activities requires appropriate authorization.

The standard agreement has a term of up to one year from its effective date, unless it is extended in writing. Qualcomm may modify, suspend, or terminate the program or an Ambassador’s participation at any time, including if an Ambassador fails to meet agreed responsibilities, violates program guidelines, breaches the agreement, or engages in conduct that could harm Qualcomm’s reputation or business interests.
