New ways to experience our vehicles, inside and out

IAA MOBILITY Main Stage, Wednesday, September 6 at 12:45 p.m. CET

More than just a means for getting from one place to another, the car is becoming a new living space. The modern vehicle allows people to take their digital lives on the go with multimedia-driven experiences, new services, and enhanced safety. Technology--with AI as an essential component--is at the heart of this auto industry revolution that is transforming how we experience our vehicles on the road. Hear from Don McGuire, Chief Marketing Officer of Qualcomm, about how next-gen vehicles are offering opportunities to be productive, enjoy entertainment, and travel more safely. And with it come new ways for automakers to create modern experiences that evolve with their customers.

How data and AI can reinvent mobility

IAA MOBILITY Main Stage (Hall A1), Wednesday, September 6 at 2 p.m. CET

As key elements of the new digital core, data and AI will be at the heart of making mobility more sustainable, affordable and safer. Among many benefits, highly automated driving will improve the quality of life in cities, offer personalized mobility at mass-transit prices and help reduce accidents by up to 90 percent. But to achieve all this--and more--requires reinventing today’s business models. That means software-defined vehicles offering an immersive user experience and accelerating the shift of revenue from digital services, which will rise to $1.5 trillion by 2030. Alex Vukotich, Vice President of Product Management, and other panelists will discuss how highly automated vehicles--and mobility in general--will be increasingly offered as a service and fueled by data and AI to drive a step-change in performance and accelerate the reinvention of mobility.

Welcome to the machine age. Leveraging new incentive models, machine communication and data spaces for a better mobility world.

IAA MOBILITY Smart Mobility Space (Hall B3), Monday, September 4 at 3 p.m. CET

How can intelligent incentive models and decentralized platforms accelerate the transformation of the mobility sector? How do innovative loyalty programs (e.g., Web3 move-to-earn apps) generate a change in behavior among end customers? And how can industry players be motivated to truly collaborate and share information (e.g., via data spaces)? Join Riccardo Calabro, Senior Director of Product Marketing, and other panelists as they tackle these questions and more that address the future of smart mobility.
