Device Identification, Registration, and Blocking System (DIRBS) is a server-based software platform that is intended to identify counterfeit, illegal, and stolen mobile devices in a country.
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, has made the DIRBS software platform available as open source to assist governments, regulators and others in their efforts to combat the improper use of counterfeit, illegal and stolen devices on cellular networks. DIRBS software and documentation are available for download on GitHub.
