Colin Ryan serves as EVP, Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer of Qualcomm Incorporated. In this role, Ryan explores new business models, develops strategic initiatives and partnerships, drives market expansion and corporate business development, and guides the company through strategic planning. Ryan also oversees Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) strategies and execution, as well as investments through Qualcomm Ventures to advance the ecosystem.

Previously, Ryan spent more than 25 years at Goldman Sachs advising clients across the technology, media, and telecom industries and held various leadership positions in both the U.S. and Europe, including Global Co-Head of Technology M&A, Co-Head of M&A for the Americas, and Global Co-Chairman of the Technology Media and Telecom advisory business. Most recently, he founded his own technology and media advisory and investment firm, Clipper Street Capital.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in international law from University College Dublin and currently serves on the Board of the American Ireland Funds.
