A program for Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities
Engaging and supporting veterans and individuals with disabilities as they seek meaningful employment through a free, one-day educational and networking event which will include:
a high-level overview of Qualcomm
an interview and networking workshop
the opportunity to connect over lunch with recruiters and hiring managers from several companies across San Diego
a fun, hands-on experience combining career exploration with engineering innovation in our Qualcomm® Thinkabit Lab™, a maker space providing exposure to technology.
The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity to connect with hiring managers and recruiters and hire into STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics) roles.
STEM opportunities include but are not limited to:
IT (Server, Storage, and Networking Engineering)
Software and Hardware Engineering
Test and Lab Technician
Engineering Applications Support
Environmental Health and Safety
This initiative aligns with Qualcomm’s commitment to the U.S. Business Leadership Network’s (USBLN) Going for the Gold Project.
Qualcomm is ranked by G.I. Jobs Magazine's ‘'Top 100 Military Friendly Companies" and scored 100 on the Diversity Equality Index each year since its inception.
Selected individuals will be notified and must be available on May 25 from 8 am to 5 pm.
