Alliance for Wireless Power

Qualcomm is a founder of the Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP). A4WP is an independently operated organization composed of global wireless power and technology industry leaders. The Alliance will focus on a new wireless power transfer technology that provides spatial freedom for charging of electrical devices in cars, on table tops and for multiple devices simultaneously. The key aims of the A4WP are: (1) establish an industry standardization body, and (2) grow the use of cable-free-power technology.
