Inside Nokia’s new Flagship Smartphone -- The Nokia Lumia 920
Earlier today Nokia held a press conference in New York City to unveil their latest in their line of Lumia smartphones – The Lumia 820 and flagship Lumia 920. At the core of these handsets is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 processor. The performance powerhouse of the S4 processor allowed Nokia to outfit these phones the flashiest hardware technology and bleeding edge Microsoft software. Below is a walkthrough of how the Snapdragon S4 is powering some of these features in the flagship Nokia Lumia 920.
The Dell XPS 10 brings the Snapdragon S4 Processor to Windows RT
At IFA Berlin, Dell announced the XPS 10, a gorgeous 10-inch tablet that caters to both consumers and professionals. This tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, a fully-integrated, system-on-chip solution capable of running the gamut of Windows applications. Unlike traditional PC processors, a Snapdragon-powered tablet is designed to easily provide a full day’s worth of battery life and lasting days on standby without a battery charge.
Samsung Joins Windows RT fray with a Snapdragon Powered Tablet
Samsung just launched a portfolio of new devices under its new “ATIV” brand, and among them is a pure tablet running Microsoft’s Windows RT and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. The ATIV Tab, as Samsung calls it, is a beautiful 10-inch tablet that delivers a full Windows 8 experience and features that intersects the lifestyles of casual user and professional. The best thing about a tablet running on a Snapdragon processor is that unlike traditional PC processors, a Snapdragon powered-device can guarantee a full day of use on a single charge, while lasting days on standby.
HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE Lands on Verizon
Verizon users who felt a little left out after HTC launched a One Series on every carrier except their own can now rest easy. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE may go by a different name than its siblings, but everything under the hood says it’s as powerful and feature-packed.
Snapdragon at Comic-Con

Two phones that look exactly alike may not always be the same. We know—it’s confusing. It happened with the HTC One X, where there is an international version and a U.S version that are identical in looks, but run on different processors.
The Snapdragon Gaming World Record Challenge By the Numbers

However, there are circumstances when a mobile device will heat up significantly, say, when you’re playing a 3D intensive game, chatting with video enabled, or watching an HD movie continuously for long periods of time.
