Sony debuts Xperia M2 at MWC

Sony Xperia M2 smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor

In addition to the Xperia Z2 announcements at this year’s Mobile World Congress, Sony also introduced the Xperia M2. The 4G LTE smartphone offers premium entertainment and flagship experiences at a mid-range price point including a multi-tasking, power efficient Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 400 processor, and a 4.8-inch qHD display.

According to Sony, the Xperia M2 is the world's slimmest 4G smartphone, and has the highest resolution camera in its class with a razor sharp 8MP Exmor RS camera. Combined with an ultra-fast Snapdragon 400 processor with 4G LTE designed for powerful, virtually seamless performance, the Xperia M2 is a force to be reckoned with.

The M2 also includes OmniBalance design, HDR, built-in camera apps for live video broadcasting and sharing, and a unique entertainment package of three blockbuster movies, 30 days of unlimited music and 10 premium games available out of the box. Sony will launch the Xperia M2 globally in April 2014, available in black, white and purple.
