[No commercial release versions between 2.1.1 and 2.3.1] ----------------------------------- NEW FEATURES AND CHANGES IN 2.1.1 ----------------------------------- * Fixed a bug that caused periodic artifacts in converted audio. ----------------------------------- NEW FEATURES AND CHANGES IN 2.0.0 ----------------------------------- * The PureVoice player/recorder has been completely rewritten from scratch to take advantage of Microsoft® DirectShow(TM) technology for multimedia recording and playback. * Once again statically linking with MFC and other DLLs. * Removed bug report and view web site buttons -- PureVoice bug reports should now be posted using the web form at this address: http://www.cdmatech.com/about_us/contact_purevoice_comment.jsp * There are no plans to support non-Windows versions of PureVoice. * PureVoice codecs are now implemented in DirectShow filters rather than in .qcl files -- once PureVoice is installed, other DirectShow-capable programs, such as Microsoft Media Player, are able to play back .qcp files. * The PureVoice UI is implemented in a set of ActiveX controls (launchpad.dll) which may be embedded in other programs or on web pages which support ActiveX components. * Chinese language support was removed. * The "Compact View" mode is not supported in this version. ------------------ BUG FIXES IN 2.0.0 ------------------ * The program should no longer crash when stopping, pausing, or repositioning when running on Windows XP. * The PureVoice32.dll EMSAPI plugin file was recompiled to fix an issue where it would not work with Eudora 6.1.0.6. ---------------------- REQUESTS FOR LICENSING ---------------------- If you want to use PureVoice Technology (encoder/decoder library, not PureVoice.exe application itself) for your project/software, please fill out our on-line form at: http://www.cdmatech.com/about_us/contact_purevoice.jsp ------------------------------ LICENSE AND LEGAL INFORMATION ------------------------------ THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS SOFTWARE, THE USE OF WHICH IS LICENSED BY ______________________________________ (LICENSOR) TO ITS CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR USE ONLY AS SET FORTH BELOW.
