It is my sincere pleasure to announce our fourth Annual Smart Services Summit. As has been our tradition, this will be an exclusive invitation only conference for executives of manufacturing organizations who are looking to drive strategic growth through services. Smart Services - which include telematics and telemedicine - are a natural extension of product services. They involve electronically networking products to real-time enterprises to create information-based advantages.
This is NOT a sales event. It's about thought leadership - presented, moderated and discussed by companies that are actually implementing Smart Services, along with industry experts, analysts, and academia. Nowhere will you find a more diverse and impressive line up of participating presenters and panelists.
Some key new enhancements this year are:
Paul Jacobs, CEO of Qualcomm is delivering the anchor keynote presentation
- We have renamed the summit "The Smart Services Leadership Summit." To achieve success, organizations must have strong executive sponsorship for their Smart Services initiative, which frankly is not always the case. To that end we seek expand participation from the very senior levels of manufacturing organizations.
- The location for this year's summit has been changed from Chicago to San Diego. We made the decision to hold the summit at Qualcomm in San Diego this year so our network of customers and partners would have an opportunity to see our new headquarters and meet our new family. Chicago Cubs Rooftop parties will continue. More detail on that at another time.
- We have expanded to a full day and a half for all attendees and a half day of workshops exclusively for customers so we can provide a more in-depth analysis of business possibilities
More information will be made available as the agenda and line-up of presenters, panelists and workshops develops. So save the date. You will not want to miss this one.
See you in San Diego!
