Kimberly M. Koro

Kimberly M. Koro currently serves as president of Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV). QGOV is responsible for Qualcomm's government business whose charter is to develop, market and sell Qualcomm's products and technologies tailored to U.S. government and homeland security applications. QGOV is dedicated to working with federal, state and local entities to develop specialized capabilities as well as leverage the advances in commercial wireless technology for the government's needs, including the Company's development of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) wireless secure handsets and net broadcast technology that incorporates end-to-end encryption.
Koro joined the legal department for Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions in 1989 and assumed various positions overseeing division legal matters, international programs and business development. In 1995 Koro was named as vice president of operations and division counsel for Qualcomm's CommSystems division and continued to assume increasing levels of responsibility and leadership, culminating in her appointment as president of Qualcomm's Digital Media division in 1999.
Prior to joining Qualcomm, Koro was a business lawyer in the law firm of Gray, Cary, Ware & Freidenrich, where she specialized in commercial transactions. Ms. Koro holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Colorado and graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego with a Juris Doctor degree.
