Dr. Daniel L. Sullivan

Dr. Daniel Sullivan serves as executive vice president of Human Resources for Qualcomm Incorporated. In this role, Dr. Sullivan has direct responsibility for all human resources functions at Qualcomm including: organization planning, compensation, benefits, learning, employee relations, corporate giving, staffing organization climate, employee communication and leadership development for the Company's 13,500+ employees worldwide.
Dr. Sullivan joined the Company as director of Human Resources in April 1992. He was promoted to vice president of Human Resources in February 1994, to senior vice president in February 1996 and to executive vice president in August 2001. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Dr. Sullivan served in senior human resources management roles at leading companies in the technology sector.
Dr. Sullivan holds a Ph.D. in organization communication from the University of Nebraska. He also holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in communication from Illinois State University and West Virginia University, respectively.
Dr. Sullivan currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Economic Development Corporation, member of the Board of Trustees of The Bishops' School and member of the Board of Directors for the Old Globe Theater.
