Mantosh Malhotra is the country head for Qualcomm Incorporated in the Philippines. Based in Manila, Malhotra works closely with Qualcomm’s 3G ecosystem partners and oversees the execution of Qualcomm's business and market strategies in Philippines.
Prior to this role, Malhotra was regional manager and head of Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS) for Australia and New Zealand, where he oversaw QIS business and managed corporate affairs activities. Malhotra joined Qualcomm in 2004 and has worked to introduce and establish MediaFLO in the Asia Pacific region. His leadership also led to the establishment of the first WCDMA uiOne deal in the region with Telstra.
With a mobile telecommunications career spanning 13 years throughout the Asia Pacific region, Malhotra brings a wealth of experience in engineering and business development. His most recent role prior to Qualcomm was with Agilent Technologies, where he was responsible for developing its wireless business across the South Asia Pacific and achieving business growth through technical leadership.
Malhotra holds a Bachelors’ degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University; a Masters in Telecommunications Engineering at RMIT University and a Masters in Business Administration at Melbourne Business School in Australia.

I recently came across a blog post and photos on the Wireless Access for Health project (WAH) by the Center for Health Market Innovations. I have always been fascinated by the benefits that wireless connectivity can bring to underserved communities, particular in the area of e-health, and this project is really something extraordinary.
