Elisabeth Best is an intern in Qualcomm's Government Affairs department, where she works on issues related to technology and sustainability policy and contributes to the efforts of our Public Affairs team. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Pacific International Affairs at UC San Diego’s Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS), where she is specializing in international economics and public policy with a focus on Latin America. Elisabeth has a background in journalism, including in blogging, social media, and podcasting, and prior to starting graduate school, she worked as an editorial fellow for solutions-oriented public policy magazine Miller-McCune. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara in June 2009 with a BA in global studies and a minor in professional editing.
