Dennis Kish is vice president and general manager of Qualcomm MEMS Technologies, Inc. (QMT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In this role, Kish is responsible for leading QMT’s technology development and product commercialization efforts. QMT‘s charter is to bring to market mirasol®, an industry-transforming display technology that uses interferometric modulation (IMOD), based on micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) to create displays that are visible in virtually any environment and provide long battery life.
Prior to his role in QMT, Kish served as vice president of operations and program management at Qualcomm Atheros (QCA) where his contributions included the successful integration of the Atheros operations team into Qualcomm following its acquisition and the creation of a centralized Global Program Management Office.
Prior to joining QCA, Kish’s general management experience included roles as vice president and general manager of ST-Ericsson’s Connectivity and Peripherals business unit, and senior vice president and general manager of the Connected Entertainment Business at NXP Semiconductors.
Kish holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University.
