As president of Snaptracs, Inc., David Vigil leads the Tagg—The Pet Tracker™ team and is responsible for bringing the group’s latest innovations to market. Snaptracs’ vision is to provide products and services that make life easier and give customers peace of mind. To that end, Vigil works in close collaboration with a talented team of engineers, designers, and industry experts to ensure that every product meets the needs of customers and exceeds their expectations.
Vigil has held several executive leadership positions in the company including strategy development for service businesses, leading sales and marketing in our mobile payments businesses, and overseeing Qualcomm’s businesses in Southeast Asia, Russia, Central Europe and the Americas. He played a key role in formulating and implementing Qualcomm’s overall business strategies in these regions including the negotiation of and deployment of CDMA450 in Europe and the unprecedented national proliferation of EV-DO in the Americas.
Vigil currently resides in San Diego. He received both a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in finance from San Diego State University. He has served on several community boards including the Cal State San Marcos Advisory Board.
