Bin Zhao

Mr. Bin Zhao is corporate vice president of Legal and Corporate Affairs for Qualcomm Wireless Communication Technologies (China) Limited, in charge of the Legal & Intellectual Property Group and the Government Affairs Group for Qualcomm China. Except for all of the corporate issues relating to the laws, intellectual property protection and government affairs in China, Mr. Bin Zhao has been widely engaged in the management of the operation compliance, risk-control, trade affairs and corporate social responsibilities of Qualcomm China.

Mr. Bin Zhao graduated from Peking University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and pursued doctoral degrees in Linguistics and Jurisprudence in the U.S. He is a U.S.-registered attorney with more than 15 years of private practice experience with international law firms including Baker & McKenzie, DLA Piper and Morrison & Foerster. Prior to his employment with Qualcomm, Mr. Zhao served as senior legal counsel for Intel China and VP and general counsel for Sony China.

Mr. Bin Zhao proactively participates in various social events and currently serves as a vice chairman for the China Association of the Enterprises with Foreign Investment, and as director of the board for the Beijing Association of the New Social Class Members.
